TESTIMONIALS
To inform you of the travels of our sailboat with Dinghy-Tow, bought at the Toronto Boat
Show, January 1996
In summer 1996 we traveled from the Kingston, Ontario area down the St. Lawrence, across
the Gulf (of St. Lawrence) to the Magdelan Islands, and on to P.E.I. and Cape Breton. This
summer, 1997, we traveled from Baddeck, Cape Breton, down the eastern shore of Nova
Scotia, Halifax, Mahone Bay, Lunenberg, wintering near Chester.
We have towed our 10.5 ft rubber dinghy with Dinghy-Tow across rough water in the Gulf of
St. Lawrence and Nova Scotia. I have acquired real confidence in the security and
integrity of the system. Most of the time I have left our 8 H.P. outboard attached.
However, for the roughest water I remove the outboard because I didn't want the extra
weight on the system. I found that it was quite easy to lift the 8 H.P. outboard off the
dinghy from the sailboat cockpit but pulling it in close even with the boat unsteady. I
had no cases of following waves putting water in the dinghy.
I appreciate the security of boarding the dinghy while it is firmly attached to the
sailboat, and the ease of reconnecting to the sailboat when I return. I also feel much
more secure against dinghy theft as I hoist the dinghy stern to near the pulpit every
night. I recommend your product to all sailboaters.
