I have used the Dinghy-Tow for one season. We were in the Bahamas for three months, never took the engine off the dinghy from the time we left Florida. We pulled it across the Gulf Stream and all the way to the Exumas with no trouble. Now that we are home, the dinghy is tipped up against the backstay with the engine on.

We are planning to go west near year to Honduras and Bay Islands and we will tow with the motor on, as I think it tows better in heavy seas with the motor on.
